The Commuter Lounge is located in the Fusion Center (upper level).
If you are looking for a quiet place to study, do homework or meet up with your friends, the Commuter Lounge is here for you. The Commuter Lounge is located on the upper floor of the Fusion Center.
Resources available to Commuter Students:
- 24 hour a day access to Commuter Lounge. After hours ID card access.
- Commuter Meal Plans offered through Sodexo for more information please visit: https://farmington.sodexomyway.com
- Access to all campus related programs.
- You are invited to participate in UMF clubs and organizations.
- The Thrifty Beaver Co-op – A student run food pantry and clothing exchange. More information can be found at: https://www.umf.maine.edu/sustainability/thrifty-beaver-coop/
- No need to use your vehicle as book storage! UMF has lockers available (located in the Olsen Student Center) to commuters. Cost is $3.00 for one semester or $5.00 for the year. For more information, contact the Student Life Office.
- The university also offers basic overnight accommodations for commuters in cases of inclimate weather. Contact Student Housing at 207-778-7372 for more information
