Maine Bureau of Veterans Services (MBVS) – www.maine.gov/veterans – Contact the MBVS and self-identify as a veteran to ensure access to all benefits to which you are entitled.
VA Maine Healthcare System – Togus – www.maine.va.gov – located in Augusta, ME – offers a variety of health services to meet the needs of all Veterans.
Vet Center Program – www.vetcenter.va.gov – there is a Vet Center in Lewiston, ME.  They provide a broad range of counseling, outreach and referral services to combat Veterans and their families.
Veterans Inc. – www.veteransinc.org – there is an office in Lewiston, ME.  They assist veterans that are homeless or at risk of being homeless with housing, employment, and health services.
Maine Career Centers – www.mainecareercenter.com – there is an office in East Wilton, ME and all across the state.  They offer services to veterans to find employment, write resumes and interview skills.
Veteran Crisis Hotline – 1-800-273-8255 – www.veteranscrisisline.net – confidential toll-free hotline to receive support 24 hours a day for veterans in crisis.

Disabled American Veterans – www.dav.org – provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families.  They offer services ranging from rides to medical appointments to helping find employment or with benefit claims.

Wounded Warrior Project – www.woundedwarriorproject.org – To assist veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military, transition back to civilian life.
