Dr. Nicole Achey, lives in Maine with her husband, two daughters and a chocolate lab. When she is not teaching or exploring academic pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and working on home renovations. Her research interests include the lived experience of people with intellectual disabilities, sexual advocacy, and disability, and professionalism for undergraduate students. She has extensive professional service, including the Developmental Disabilities Council, the International Justice Mission, and the Rehabilitation Council. Degrees
