Exams can be scheduled at different dates & times – cost $90 each. They can also be
scheduled together in 5 hr blocks of time on the same day for a cost of combined test $150
Praxis I – Core Academic Skills for Educators – Passing Scores for the State of Maine:
- Reading: 156
- Math: 150
- Writing: 162
- Composite Score: 468
A composite score of 468 is passing provided that the scores on the individual sections are no more than three points lower from the following: Reading–156, Writing–162, Math–150

Directions to UMF Testing Services, Franklin Hall
UMF’s Franklin Hall is located at 252 Maine Street, Farmington, the tall white building at the corner of South Street and Main Street. Testing Services is located on the 3rd floor and is elevator accessible.
Parking
Park in Lot 17 to the left of Franklin Hall. Please park in spots that are designated for Testing. On-street parking is also available but limited.
