Brian has worked in higher education for more than 25 years. His responsibilities at UMF include Residence Life, Student Housing, Student Activities, Student Judicial Affairs, and the University Shuttle Service.
He has also served as the President and Vice President of the Staff Senate at UMF.
Brian has worked professionally at Oregon State University, Arizona Western College, Eastern Washington University, and the University of Maine at Farmington.
Brian enjoys the outdoors and camping and is an avid reader and watcher of movies.

Dr. Yetunde O. Ajao brings a wealth of experience to the UMF community in Residential Life, intercultural communication, and restorative practices.
Originally from Nigeria, she now calls New England home. With degrees in Adult Education and studies in Intercultural Peacebuilding & Conflict Transformation, Master’s in Public Administration, and Sustainable Development respectively, her commitment to leadership, self-awareness, and inclusion shines through.
Her Ph.D. in International Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, underscores her dedication to issues of diversity, equity, and belonging.
Outside work, she enjoys quiet moments with a good book, cooking, and quality time with family and friends, reflecting her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
Sarah Carew

Sarah is the Area Director for the following residence halls: Dakin, Frances Allen Black (FAB), Lockwood, Mallett, Purington, and Stone.
She supervises the Community Assistants (CAs) in those halls and oversees the day-to-day operations of the buildings.
As the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Sarah provides support and resources to students who experience Title IX situations. She helps people connect to both on- and off-campus resources, and explore their options.
Duncan Farley

Duncan is the Area Director for the Scott Hall Complex. He oversees the building and students, and supervises the Student Staff in Scott Hall.
He is also serving in an interim role as Coordinator for Student Housing. In this position, he oversees the day-to-day student housing operations and accommodates student housing needs.
His responsibilities include assigning students to residence halls, residential meal plans, and room changes.

In addition to her Administrative Assistant responsibilities, Judy oversees events at The Landing; Weekend Adventures; the UMF Shuttle Service; Family & Friends Fall Festival; and contracts for many acts, groups, and performers coming to campus for events.

Area Directors
These are professional staff members who reside in a residence hall and are responsible for the day-to-day management of the residence halls.
Area Directors serve as an adult presence and mentor in the residence halls and uphold University policy. Each Area Director has the experience and skill to create living-learning environments that challenge and encourage the development of the whole student, foster a sense of community in the residence halls, and empower residents to take responsibility for their actions and decisions.
Community Assistants
These are carefully selected student leaders who live in the residence halls and assist in developing a safe and healthy community.
Community Assistants fill many roles, including programming, administration, and policy enforcement. They are familiar with the University’s goals, services, policies, and procedures.
