Housing

International and Exchange Students receiving scholarships and/or waivers and First Year Students are required to live on-campus in a residence hall and to purchase a meal plan.

The housing application will be completed through the UMF myCampus portal.

  • Go to https://mycampus.maine.edu
  • You will be prompted for your UMS/UMF email and password to log in.
  • This will bring you to the University of Maine System portal. Select University of Maine at Farmington on the right side of the page to enter the UMF myCampus portal.
  • On the left side of the UMF myCampus portal page, select UMF Tools and then Residential Life and Housing Portal.
  • Follow the instructions for completing the housing application found in the New Student Housing Application Step by Step Guide on the housing portal.

Learn more about the Resident Meal Plans here. Note, you may choose only from the Resident Meal Plans and not the voluntary meal plans. First year students must select Meal Plan A. The meal plans will be further explained during International Orientation and you will have time to change your initial meal plan selection after arrival, should you decide that another plan will better suit your needs.
